WheaGo Global
As an incoming student, you have the option to begin your Wheaton journey abroad through WheaGo Global—Wheaton’s signature First-Semester Study Abroad program. Spend your fall semester at one of our partner institutions in Australia, France, Greece, Spain or Switzerland with a cohort of fellow Wheaton students.

Study Away in the U.S.
Not all academic enrichment experiences require a passport. As a Wheaton student, you can access exciting off-campus study opportunities right here in the U.S. We offer exchange programs with regional universities, field research and internships, and a semester in the city in Boston, Massachusetts through the College of Social Innovation.

Before you start packing your bags, take a moment to review the eligibility and application requirements.
Eligibility requirements vary depending on the program. Search our Online Program Database to view specific GPA and prerequisite criteria for your preferred destination.
If you are planning to study away in the U.S. or abroad, login to the Study Abroad Application Portal , select your program and complete the application. All applications are processed through the Center for Global Education.
Important Deadlines:
Fall semester or full academic year travel
application due March 1
Spring semester travel:
application due October 1
- If you are considering a program that’s not on our approved list, you must complete a petition application . The petition is reviewed by the Center for Global Education and the Global Advisory Committee.
- If you have a GPA below the requirement for your particular program, you must complete a GPA petition. The petition is reviewed by the Center for Global Education and the Committee on Academic Standing.
