Slow Food is a super cool international organization for food lovers. The goal for the organization is to unite chefs and farmers who are anti-fast food and pro-local and sustainable agriculture.
The US Green Building Council creates and publicizes guidelines for both new and old construction to follow environmental sustainable practices. The website explains the levels of LEED (Leading in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.
