Parking Registration Information for First Year Students
Dear First Year Wheaton Student:
First year student parking space on campus is limited, and few permits are issued. Parking applications for first year students are considered separately from upper-class students. An extremely limited number of first year students will be issued decals. Eligibility is based on need, such as a medical condition or a work or academic commitment. You are required to document your reason for needing a vehicle on campus.
I urge you to complete the application by the freshmen parking application deadline. Applications received after the deadline may not receive a parking decal. You will be notified via your Wheaton e-mail account if you have received a decal prior to the beginning of classes in the fall. The annual parking registration fee is $50.00. If you choose to pay by check, your check should be made payable to Wheaton College. Please pick up your parking sticker when you arrive on campus in the fall. A copy of the College Parking Regulations and map will be issued at that time.
Please note that Wheaton College is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to any vehicle or its contents while parked on campus; and vehicle owners are encouraged to have the appropriate insurance to cover vandalism and theft.
Non-resident students must submit a 'Nonresident Student Vehicle Information Form' to the town of Norton. The form can be completed and downloaded from The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles web site.
Sincerely,
Charles Furgal, Director
Public Safety Department
