TO: President Dale Marshall
SUBJECT: Parking Committee Recommendations
The Parking Committee was established by President Marshall in the fall semester to examine the parking situation at the College and make recommendations to her about ways to improve the problems perceived by students, faculty and staff.

Issues for the future
It will be important for us to get a solid count of the number of students, faculty and staff with permits and do regular surveys of the lots next year to determine the accuracy and effectiveness of our policies.
Prior to the proposed summer landscape improvements on lower campus which have the potential to remove spaces in lot D (in the first phase) and lot E (in a later phase), we must determine whether lot P can absorb the displaced spaces or whether any additional parking is necessary.
