Spring events in the arts at Wheaton

Wheaton College welcomes members of the local community to the arts events listed below. The following events are open to the public without charge.
On Sunday, April 30, the Wheaton World Music Ensemble will perform, with a special appearance by the Wheaton Chorale. Matthew Allen and Tim Harbold will conduct the spirited performance, featuring the music of Brasil, India and Ireland. The concert, in the Cole Memorial Chapel, will be at 7:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, May 2, Rick Britto will conduct a concert by the Wheaton Jazz Band. The performance, in the Watson Theatre, will be at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, May 5, the Wheaton Chamber Orchestra welcomes internationally acclaimed cellist as a guest performer at their spring concert. Conducted by Jamie Fiste, the concert is at 7:30 p.m. in the Watson Theatre.
The Southeastern Massachusetts Wind Symphony will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Watson Theatre on Saturday, May 6, conducted by local resident Earl L. Raney.
