Explore the universe at Wheaton College: The Wheaton Observatory is open to the public for exploration of the skies each Friday night from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Located on the roof of the Wheaton Science Center, the Observatory contains seven computerized 12-inch telescopes and two computerized 14-inch telescopes. Throughout the fall, astronomical objects such as the Ring Nebula, the Pleiades Star Cluster, Uranus, Neptune and our own moon will be visible.
The Observatory is open every clear Friday night from 7:30 to 8:30 while the college is in session.Visitors are advised to dress warmly in cold weather since the observing deck is outside. If weather is doubtful, call (508) 286[^]3937 for cancellation information.
