Global Days for Darfur
(April 28 - May 19, 2007)Global Days for Darfur is part of a nationwide movement to increase awareness of the extreme human rights violations occurring in the Sudan and on borders of Chad and Central African Republic. The Wheaton College Divestment from Sudan Committee and the Library has sponsored an exhibit of readings and videos on the Sudan and the genocide, as part of our week of action at Wheaton.
Along with the literature that covers multiple studies on the Sudan, personal testimonies and historical information, there will be a display of protest art created by students as a response to the atrocities that threaten the lives of people throughout the Darfur region.
