STUDIO PERFORMANCE: WHEATON DANCE COMPANY. The dance company premieres a work created by Troy Powell, resident choreographer for Ailey II, the acclaimed junior ensemble of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. The work is a result of Ailey II's week-long residency at Wheaton this fall, made possible by the Evelyn Danzig Haas '39 Visiting Artists Program. During the residency, the college's dance company participated in a choreographic workshop with the Ailey dancers.
