Julyamysh (a Coeur d’Alene word meaning the meeting of two rivers) is the annual Pow Wow of the neighboring Coeur d’Alene tribe. When the Spokane reservation was created, the two Catholic bands of the Spokane settled on the Catholic Coeur d’Alene reservation. There has been continual inter-marriage between the two tribes.
