Wheaton presents honorary degrees

The college presented an honorary doctor of letters degree to Commencement speaker Freeman Hrabowski III, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
Also receiving honorary degrees were Deborah Bial (Doctor of Humane Letters), founder of the Posse Foundation; Bob Herbert (Doctor of Letters), op-ed columnist for the New York Times; and Kathleen M. O'Donnell, distinguished Massachusetts attorney and a member of the college's class of 1977.
