Wheaton presents honorary degrees

Also receiving honorary degrees were Kathleen M. Dennehy (Doctor of Laws), commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Correction and a member of the college's class of 1976; Wheaton Trustee Patricia Higgins Arnold (Doctor of Humane Letters), a longtime volunteer leader in education and a member of the college's class of 1966; and Elspeth Davies Rostow (Doctor of Letters), the Stiles Professor Emerita in American Studies at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas.
