Congratulations, graduates!

The skies were sunny and so were the faces of Wheaton's graduates as the college celebrated its 171th Commencement on May 20, 2006. Commencement speaker Cokie Roberts, awarding-winning broadcast journalist for NPR and ABC News, urged the 385 graduates to make public service an important part of their lives, no matter where their career paths may lead. Our participatory democracy, she reminded them, is what binds our diverse nation together.
