The sunny smiles of Wheaton's graduates brightened a gray morning as the college celebrated its 169th Commencement on May 22, 2004. Commencement speaker Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland, urged graduates to hold world governments accountable for human rights and to "go forth and make a difference in whatever paths you choose."
