Monday, June 25

*Miller Tennis Camp.  A day camp directed by Wheaton's head coach for men's and women's tennis, Lynn Miller. For more than 25 years, this camp has served the youth of Norton and surrounding towns. It offers campers a 1-to-4 instructor-to-camper ratio for players of all ability levels who will be enter fifth through twelfth grade in September 2012.

*Basketball Dimensions.  A day camp directed by Wheaton's head coach for men's basketball, Brian Walmsley, for boys entering grades 3-10. He develops fundamentals of basketball, promotes team play, and involves all players in positive and competitive situations. *Skills and Drills Softball Camp.  Run by Wheaton Head Coach Rachael Powers '03, this day camp is staffed by NCAA college coaches and players from Wheaton, Wellesley, the University of New Haven, Holy Cross, Brandeis, Bryant, Mt. Ida, Providence College and more. Skills and Drills focuses on the mechanics and fundamentals of the game. Individual attention in small skill groups will be stressed daily along with team play.

9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.Soccer's Future Academy, Inc.   A day camp for boys and girls, ages 6-14 (grades one through eight), with goalkeeper training for ages 10-14. The camp owner, president and director is Luis Reis, Wheaton's head coach for women's soccer. Program will feature technical and tactical training with coaches who have a passion for the game.

*Celtics Cowens Camps Presented by Reebok.  At this overnight camp girls and boys ages 10-18 will enjoy the opportunity to improve skills and meeting new friends. Motivational, learner-responsive program.

*NIKE Field Hockey Camp.  An overnight camp with a commuter option for girls ages 10-18. Directed by Wheaton's head coach for field hockey, Rebecca Begley, this program is committed to making players better and stronger, to improving techniques, helping to train smarter and to develop self-confidence.

8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Personal Best Swim Camp.  A competitive camp for children ages 9 to 18. Campers will receive instruction in all four major strokes, starts and turns. Program includes two daily pool sessions, one daily dry land session, one daily classroom lesson and an all-camp swim meet on Friday. (Runs 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:30 to noon on Friday.).

*Point Guard College.  A clinic for college players, dedicated high school players, and mature (and experienced) incoming freshmen who are interested in increasing their basketball IQ, understanding the subtleties that most coaches don't have time to teach, and being the kind of team leader that people want to follow. The course is also for players who are making a transition from playing post or forward to being a guard.
