ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

 

GENERAL POLICY: 

Intramural sports leagues are open to all students, faculty, and staff, interested in participating in any of the programs offered throughout the academic year. To be an eligible participant, individuals must submit the Waiver/Release of Liability Form as well as be listed on a Team Registration Form.   

POLICY FOR TEAMS, VARSITY ATHLETES & CLUB SPORT ATHLETES:

Varsity Athletes - Current in-season varsity athletes are ineligible to participate as a member of a team in the intramural sport for which they are a varsity member. At the conclusion of a varsity programs season, varsity athletes are eligible to become permanent free agents. Athletes may participate in the intramural sport for which they are a varsity member ONLY as Free Agents. As a Varsity Free Agents individuals cannot be added to a team and will play on various teams. 

Club Sport Athletes - Current in-season club sports athletes are eligible to participate in Intramural Sports with limited restrictions.

Intramural Roster Policy - Varsity Athletes and Club Sport Athletes that comprise a majority of the members on an Intramural Sports team is permitted as long as it does not violate the terms of the policies listed above.

 

The Intramural Sports Program reserves the right to evaluate and change any league policy at anytime, if deemed necessary.
