Wheaton basketball contests to be webcast live Tuesday nightFebruary 14, 2006 NORTON, MA- Both ends of Wheaton College's New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) basketball doubleheader against the United States Coast Guard Academy will be webcast on Tuesday evening live from Emerson Gymnasium. The audio broadcast can be heard beginning at 5:15 p.m. on www.sportsjuice.com, with Mark Simon providing play-by-play and Coast Guard sports information director Jason Southard contributing color commentary. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m. The Blue and White's women enter the final week of the regular season holding sole possession of sixth place in the NEWMAC, just two games out of third, at 13-10 overall and 5-6 in the conference. Wheaton opposes Coast Guard, which is tied for seventh in the league at 9-14 and 4-7, before entertaining conference leader Springfield College on Saturday at Emerson Gym. Wheaton's men, who are 14-8 overall and 5-5 in the conference, are tied for fourth in the league with Springfield, standing just one game out of second. The Lyons, who host a Coast Guard team which is 15-6 overall and tied for second in the league at 6-4, complete their conference slate Saturday at home versus sixth-place Babson College.
