Being a part of the inaugural class at Wheaton is really exciting because we are paving the way for many students who will come after us and we are getting to help build the program from the ground up. I truly feel like I am a part of a team striving toward the same goal of success for the program. Success for the program means success for my classmates and me. I definitely feel like I have been set up for success within the nursing program. There are so many cool lab spaces to take part in hands-on activities for learning. Our professors are all experienced in the field of nursing and are really passionate about helping people as well as teaching the next generation of nursing students.

Filmmaking and visual story-telling is at an inflection point due to advances in videogame technologies and visual effects tools. Film Production continues to grow and thrive at Wheaton. The Film & New Media Studies department has developed a growth plan to outline ways in which we could meet this growing demand, given the proper resources. We also see the growth plan as an opportunity to develop new initiatives in creative industries to better prepare students for the range of career opportunities that have emerged within the digital media landscape.

The admissions person could tell that something had happened to change my grades and wanted to discover why. To get a personal call asking those questions was very impressive. Wheaton cared.
