APAC Volunteer Workshop

Find out the latest Admission news, learn more about the Wheaton curriculum and connect with your fellow APAC volunteers during this training workshop. We will cover the basics for interviewing prospective students, representing Wheaton at a college fair and contacting admitted students. APAC volunteers will be asked to assist with interviewing prospective students as part of Fall Visiting Day.

Non-Reunion Class Officers (including Gift Chairs) - Roles and Expectations

All class officers are required to attend this session for a "refresher" on their roles and responsibilities. Among the topics to be discussed include class notes, mini-reunions, class giving to the Annual Fund and class Web sites. In addition, you will hear about enhancements to the class officers' program and will have the opportunity to meet by peer group/decade with the staff members who will assist you in this volunteer role.

Join other Reunion Program and Gift Volunteers in a fun and informative workshop designed to help you get the most out of your Reunion experience. You will brainstorm ideas and learn new techniques which will allow you to reach out to classmates and reach new heights in fund raising and party planning! (This session begins promptly at 9 a.m.)

In Concert - Talib Kweli

Homecoming is proud to present the Brooklyn-born hip hop artist Talib Kweli, acclaimed for his lyrical gifts as well as his social activism on and off stage. The concert includes a special performance by Wheaton's Trybe dance troupe.

Tickets available in advance at www.wheatoncollege.edu/homecoming or at the door, pending availability.

Talib Kweli tickets previously bought on line by alums can be picked up at the Mary Lyon registration area through noon on Saturday. Tickets available for purchase from 12 noon to 8 p.m. in the Haas Athletic Center.
