Mary Lyon Society

The Power of Philanthropy

The Mary Lyon Society recognizes and honors those who support Wheaton College through gifts to the Annual Fund at a leadership level. Established by Wheaton's Annual Giving Committee in 2000, the Mary Lyon Society has grown to include close to 850 alumnae and alumni, parents and friends. Leadership giving by members of the Mary Lyon Society accounts for more than 80 percent of the Annual Fund's total each year.

Increased annual giving to the college has not only helped to address pressing needs, but has also reduced spending of endowment income, thus preserving Wheaton's long-term financial resources.

Corporate matching gift programs can make membership in the Mary Lyon Society more attainable, allowing you to double or even triple your gift to Wheaton.
