Where did you grow up?
Westwood, Mass.
What are your travel territories?
Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maine, Western Connecticut and upstate New York.
What has been your most thrilling adventure?
When I was studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, I had a three-week break in the middle of the semester. I decided to travel on my own to visit a friend in Barcelona, and then to Athens, Greece, to meet up with friends from Copenhagen. We all arrived in Athens separately and had not picked a specific meeting spot. Internet cafes became our only means of communication, and it was a miracle that we found each other! I would highly recommend traveling alone at some point -- but learn from my mistake -- and establish a meeting point with your friends!
What is your favorite meal or dish to prepare?
I'm not much of a chef, but there are a few breakfast items that I have perfected over the years. There's nothing quite like a homemade bacon, egg and cheese sandwich with a fresh cup of coffee to start the day.
What was the most memorable news story in your lifetime?
When the Boston Red Sox won the 2004 World Series. You may have heard...
What is your favorite sport or game to play/watch?
Lacrosse has been a passion of mine ever since my town established a league when I was in sixth grade. The feeling of playing the game is rivaled by few sensations. Also, I can thank the sport for impacting my decision to attend Wheaton.
If you were stranded on deserted island, what five items would you bring, and why?
I try to make the most out of any situation. Being stuck on a deserted island could be as relaxing as it might be maddening. So, a few long books, a hammock, my guitar and some sunscreen would turn a seeming death sentence into an extended vacation.
