CSS Profile Application
The CSS Profile is required of all financial aid applicants who wish to be considered for institutional assistance. Depending on your circumstances, you may also need to complete a NonCustodial Parent's Statement and/or a Business/Farm Supplement (see below).
- Students must register for the customized Profile application on line at Register for the CSS Profile.
Wheaton's PROFILE code is 3963. The student and his/her parents should complete the CSS Profile Application. If your parents are divorced or separated, the Profile application should include data from the parent that you live with (your custodial parent). If your custodial parent is remarried, the information should include his/her spouse.Your noncustodial parent (with whom you do not live) will need to complete the Noncustodial Parent Supplement.
If a student's natural parents are separated, divorced, or never married, the parent with whom the student does not live (the noncustodial parent) must complete a Noncustodial Parent's Statement. When the student completes the CSS Profile on-line, they will be given instruction to forward to their noncustodial parent for the on-line Noncustodial Parent's Statement. If the noncustodial parent cannot access the on-line form, please contact SFS.
The student will receive a copy of this form if his/her CSS Profile indicated that the parents own a business or a farm, or are self-employed. If this is the case, but do not receive this form, please notify Student Financial Services immediately. Also, if you receive this form in error, please notify SFS immediately to prevent a delay in processing your financial aid application.
The parent who owns the business or farm should fill out the Business/Farm Supplement. If this form has been waived for the student in the past, the student must check with Student Financial Services to confirm that the form will again be waived for the current financial aid year.
