in Shinto and what specific form do they take?
2. How might industrialization and urbanization affect
the contemporary continuing practice

Shinto in Japan?
3. Generally speaking, do people in the United States
reverence nature? Could Shinto be
practiced
today in the United States? If so, what form could it take?
When
answering/discussing
this question keep in mind how the Japanese land itself is
intimately
related to Shinto, e.g., how many of us live near enough to a
natural waterfall
to
use it in the Shinto purification ritual?
