Sacred Spaces

My picture represents the highest point in the neighborhood and is sacred space because the cross acts as an axis which connects the human world with the heavenly world of its creator. The cross is a symbol of earth interpretation of the divine which is represented by the vastness of the surrounding clouds and sky. It is a numinous experience to view the enormous natural sky in contrast to cross. One is able to feel the awe and the vast power represented here.
