ALL TOURS START FROM THE DIMPLE

The virtual Wheaton Tree Walk is an extension of the campus tree walks pioneered by Professor Emeritus Holcombe Austin. This site is intended for use by students and alumni, as well as real and virtual campus visitors, interested in learning more about Wheaton's tree collection. It features photographs and text illustrating the distinctive features of twenty-one notable trees on the Wheaton College campus, as well as directions for locating each tree when you visit. Enjoy the tour! Real life walking tours are offered during Autumnfest and Commencement Reunion weekends and as part of the Plant Biology class. Contact the Alumni Office or Professor Shumway for details. The virtual tour was designed by Dan Foxman class of 2002 and Professor Scott Shumway collaborating as Wheaton Research Partners. Click on a tree name to begin the tour.
