Meadows Complex

Meadows picture
The Meadows Complex on Wheaton's lower campus is made up of three separate wings: Meadows North, Meadows East, and Meadows West. Each building contains single and double rooms and the floors are co-educational community-style with residents sharing a common bathroom and shower facilities. Meadows North contains two all-female floors. All buildings have a multi-purpose common area with couches, cable television, and a microwave on its first floor.

A main complex connects all three Meadows buildings, while each building features separately secured access for safety. Meadows complex has a large centralized lounge with couches, a television, and a pool and ping pong table. Additionally, the second floor of the complex features tables and chairs for quiet studying. This common area provides Meadows residents with a close knit environment for the men and women who live in its halls. Vending machines and a laundry room are also located in the Meadows complex.

Residents who live here suggest:

  • "It is a wonderful environment for first year students and sophomores to get to know the members of their community."
  • "Meadows has awesome murals, they really make the halls cheerful!"
  • "Meadows is near the dining halls."
  • "I can do all of my laundry at the same time."
  • "We leave our doors open."
  • "You can wave to the neighbors in north or east and say hello or good night."
  • "There is an exceptional view of the sports fields, especially in the morning, when the grass is wet and the sun is shining."
  • "I like the fact that you are in such a close space which makes a tightly knit community"
