New Student Orientation Program for Family and Parents
On Saturday, August 29, 2009, parents of matriculating Wheaton students are invited to join the fun! Family activities begin at 8 a.m. and finish at 6 p.m.

Residence Hall Move-In.
Individual residential quads
8 a.m.-1 p.m.
New Student Sign-In. Orientation Begins at Info Desk
Atrium, Balfour-Hood Center
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Opening Day Picnic in The Dimple
1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
New Student and Family Meeting. The offical college welcome and the first meeting of the new class. Beard Fieldhouse, Haas Athletic Center.
2:30 p.m.-2:45 p.m.
Break Time. Parents and students go separate ways until the President's Reception at 5:15 p.m. Families who need to say their goodbys early may do so at this time.
3 p.m.-5:15 p.m.

*Parents Sending their 1st Child off to College(Woolley Room, Mary Lyon Hall)
5:15 p.m.
President's Reception. President Crutcher, faculty and administators greet new students and their families. Hood Courtyard, between Watson & meneely. In case of rain, Haas Concourse, Mars Arts and Humanities)
6 p.m.
Family Farewell. Students continue with Orientation until Tuesday evening.
