Extra-long twin sheets
Storage containers for under the bed

Laundry supplies: detergent,
fabric softener, dryer sheets,
laundry bag, quarters,
iron, mini ironing board

Shower supplies: shower caddy,
shampoo, soap,
toothpaste, tissues, etc.
First aid kit
Alarm clock
Necessary prescriptions
and/or medicine
Contact lenses, solution, glasses

Miscellaneous

Hangers
Fan (ceiling fans and air
conditioners are not permitted)
Throw rug (up to an 8x10
will fit most rooms)
Clothing for all seasons
Small sewing kit
Cleaning supplies: paper towel, all purpose cleaner, etc.
Plates, mugs, cups, utensils

THINGS YOU WON'T NEED AT WHEATON

The following items are not permitted in Wheaton's residence halls:

Pets (except fish)
Microwaves, Hot plates, heating coils, electric pans, space heaters, broilers, griddles, toasters, toaster ovens and other open-coil cooking appliances.
Incense, incense burners, candles, halogen lamps and other open flame items: prohibited by fire safety policies.
Firearms and other dangerous weapons
Room air conditioners, because they cause power surges that affect the entire residential community.
