Balfour-Hood Campus Center
The Balfour-Hood Campus Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 a.m., during the academic year. The following is a list of facilities and services located in the center. For further information call the Information Desk at 508.286. 3833.
Atrium
The Atrium is the large open area adjacent to the Information Desk on the first floor of the Balfour-Hood Campus Center. This space is used for outside vendors to sell their merchandise and is constantly transformed into several different types of entertainment venues to house bands, dance parties, and political and cultural events.
Band Practice Room
Scheduled and coordinated by the Band Club, this room is located on the mezzanine level. The room is available after the close of the work day. For information email Rebecca Pye, pye_rebecca@wheatonma.edu
Hood Café
Located on the mezzanine level of the Balfour-Hood Campus Center, off the Dimple-side entrance, the Café offers fair trade coffee, sandwiches, soups, salads, muffins and other fresh baked pastries. The Café also offers wireless internet connections and a computer station connected to the campus network. This area also serves as our Gallery Café where we showcase the artwork of our Wheaton Fine Arts students. Rhodes Student Leadership Office
This office is a gathering place for students to utilize programming resources, collaborate, and attend to student club business. Stop by the office during the afternoons, Monday through Friday. The Student Leadership Assistants are happy to answer any questions you may have about student clubs and programming on-campus. The Student Banker also holds office hours in this space. Please consult the SGA website for the Student Banker’s hours http://sga.wheatoncollege.edu/www/. The office is located on the first floor off the Atrium.

Ellison Dance Studio
This large rehearsal space for the Dance Company and various other classes and activities is located at the end of the first floor hallway. Student dance groups, such as Trybe, also use this space for practice sessions.
Fitness Center
Free weights, nautilus stations and aerobic workout equipment are available in the Fitness Center, which is located at the end of the first floor hallway past the Office of Conference and Event Services. Locker rooms are adjacent to the Fitness Center.
Information Desk
Located in the Atrium and staffed by Campus Center Assistants, the Information Desk is the central location for information dissemination on campus and is operative 10-2am daily. This desk handles the Information Line, 508.286.3833, transportation schedules, Game Room equipment, flower deliveries, and access to the Band Practice Room.
Loft
The Loft is the night spot for pizza, wings, entertainment and social events. The Loft is located at the end of the Atrium-level hallway, up the stairs, and around the corner by the rear entrance to the building. Every Thursday evening there are live music performances in the Loft as part of the Live @ Loft concert series, featuring regional bands free to the Wheaton community. The Loft is open from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Media Center
Located on the balcony level of the second floor, the Media Center supports campus events with projection systems, loudspeakers and videotaping. It also provides audio-video and computer systems in classrooms.
Meeting Rooms
The New Yellow Parlor and the 1960 Room are located on the balcony. Both rooms can be reserved through the Office of Conferences and Events.
1962 Game Room
This lounge area and game room is equipped with a large flat screen television, air hockey and billiards. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. It is located off the Atrium next to the Rhodes Student Leadership Office.
Conference and Event Services
The office coordinates campus events, including room reservations, equipment requests and food requests. During the summer months this office manages several athletic camps and youth programs that are hosted by Wheaton College. Health and Wellness

Office of Student Life
The Office of Student Life provides programming and resources for residential life, student activities, and leadership development. The office is located above the Café.
Office Services
The campus printing shop with copy and fax machines is located beyond the Atrium, behind the Campus Post Office mailboxes.
Campus Post Office
The Campus Post Office is directly off the Atrium on the first floor, the Post Office houses student, faculty and administrative mailboxes. The Campus Post Office also provides services for sorting and distributing campus mail.
Student Government Association offices
Offices for the Student Government Executive Board, Class Officers, Programming Council, Wheaton Wire (newspaper) and Nike (yearbook) share this space. This is where the student senate meeting takes place on a weekly basis.
WCCS Radio Station
The student-coordinated radio station is found on the first level of the Campus Center near the Dance Studio. WCCS manages a broadcast studio and recording studio.
