Campus Snow Removal Plan
Phase I
A major winter storm alert will be issued to students, faculty, and staff via e-mail. Students will be instructed NOT to park in any faculty/staff lots so that these lots can be cleared of snow. Every effort will be made to issue this Phase I alert between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the day it takes effect.
Phase II
With faculty/staff lots cleared, this second phase focuses on clearing Lot 3 (on Pine Street). Students,faculty, and staff will be instructed to move their cars from Lot 3 (on Pine Street) to one of the cleared faculty/staff lots by late afternoon or early evening. Between midnight and before 7AM students are required to move their cars back to Lot 3 (on Pine Street), which will have been cleared.
Phase III
Similar to Phase II but asking students to temporarily vacate Lot 10 (student lot near Post Office) and the student section in Lot 2 (along East Main Street opposite YMCA) so that these spaces can be cleared.
Phase IV
Similar to Phase II but asking students to temporarily vacate Lot 4 (by Meadows) and Lot 8 (behind Haas Athletic Center) so that these spaces can be cleared.
