Move-in Day 2005

NEWS @ Wheaton, September 2005

President Crutcher and Betty Neal Crutcher teamed up with some 90 student volunteers - Wheaton Athletic Mentors and academic preceptors - to help Wheaton's new students move into their residence halls on Saturday, August 27. The day saw the arrival of three-quarters of the college's 470 new students, who later got introduced to the mysteries of course registration, technology services, academic advising, the bookstore, student employment basics and more. In all, nearly 200 upperclass student volunteers pitched in throughout the day, greeting families, hauling boxes, handing out room keys and staffing information tables in Balfour-Hood.
