Book Form requests usually arrive in 7-14 days.
Most interlibrary requests involve no charges. However,
some major research libraries, faced with numerous requests, do
charge, and fees can be as high as $30.00. Please indicate on
the form how much you are willing to pay, or that you do not wish
to order the materials if there is a charge.
Picking up Your Material
You should be notified by e-mail once your material arrives. You can pick it up at the Circulation Desk, at the entrance of the Library. Please note the due date on the individual item, which is sometimes different from Wheaton material.
The paper banding that is wrapped around the item must remain attached. Do not remove any paperwork which is included with the item. If needed, please request renewals two or three days before the due date. Promptly return borrowed materials to the Circulation Desk in the library in order that we may continue our good relationships with the lending libraries.

Requesting Journal Articles
To request journal articles not available at Wheaton:
Directly through a Database
Many citation databases (i.e. Ovid, CSA, FirstSearch) include ILL request links directly from the detailed citation record. These electronic databases can be found using the library's Databases A-to-Z List.
Article Request Form
If you have a complete article citation from a print resource or if you used a citation database that doesn't allow ILL ordering directly, you may order your journal article by entering the citation information into the
Article Request Form.
The arrival time for Journal Form requests varies, usually 3-7 days.
Picking up Your Material
Libraries normally photocopy needed articles rather than loan the entire periodical issue. If it arrives in electronic format, your article will be e-mailed to you as a link. If it arrives in print format, your article will be mailed to your campus box.
