Documenting Your Research - ZoteroRefWorks | Zotero | Style Guides Zotero [zoh-TAIR-oh] is a free Firefox extension to help you collect, manage, and cite your research sources. It lives within the Firefox (3.0+) web browser. Zotero is a production of the Center for History and New Media and George Mason University. Current LimitationsAt the moment, Zotero is only supported with Firefox (not Internet Explorer or Safari), and it only runs within your computer's browser (it is not web-based). If you prefer another browser, or if you move between multiple computers, RefWorks might be a better choice for your citation software. Unlike Zotero, RefWorks also allows you to share your folders of citations with others online. DocumentationZotero provides excellent documentation about how to install, set-up, and use its different functionality. Future DevelopmentZotero continues to evolve and grow due to its dedicated staff and organizational support. There are a number of exciting changes planned for the near future, including web-based syncing and sharing via the Internet Archive.
