News: New Release, Offline Image Viewer 2.0
ARTstor recently released a new version of its OIV, or Offline Image Viewer. The new OIV offers additional features like the ability to include text in the slides, and customize properties like background color and layout. Beginning September 7th, all classes and training covering OLV will learn this new version.
FOR USERS OF THE ORIGINAL OFFLINE IMAGE VIEWER: If you maximize the "Image Palette" at the bottom of the screen, or use only that window, the Offline Viewer can be used just like the older version. When starting your slideshow, view "Image Palette Slideshow" instead of "Presntation". When using the upper windows, OLV 2.0 is more feature rich, but more complex, similar to powerpoint. Please contact Scott, Christin, or Chrissa if you have questions or would like training on OIV 2.0.
OIV 2.0 is available for download now. Login and select Offline Image Viewer from the tools menu. OIV 2.0 is also installed on all Woolley Electronic Classroom computers, and will be installed on other smart classroom and library public computers over the next month.
