- The Merged Information Services Organization (MISO) survey is a new survey that measures the use and effectiveness of the services and resources of merged library and technology units. Wheaton's students, faculty, and staff are participating this year.

Collaborative Partnerships:
- The Boston Consortium. The Boston Consortium for higher education acts as an external resource in creating a collaborative environment that inspires member institutions in the development and practical implementation of innovative cost management and quality improvement ideas.
- CLIR CIOs. CLIR's Chief Information Officers (CIOs) Group is composed of 34 directors of organizations that have merged their library and information technology units on the campuses of liberal arts colleges and small universities. The purpose of the group is to provide a forum in which members can discuss library and computing issues as an integrated whole.
- HELIN (Higher Education Library Information Network). The HELIN Library Consortium is composed of ten academic libraries, and fifteen health sciences libraries. The academic libraries are represented by Brown University, Bryant University, the Community College of Rhode Island, Johnson & Wales University, Providence College, Rhode Island College, Roger Williams University, Salve Regina University, University of Rhode Island, and Wheaton College.
- NELINET (New England Library Network). NELINET is a member-owned, member-governed cooperative of more than 600 academic, public, and special libraries in the six New England states.
- NERCOMP (NorthEast Regional Computing Program). NERCOMP enables the informed use of information technology by providing affordable access to educational opportunities, software licensing discount programs, professional networking and collaborative opportunities to its member network.
- NMC (New Media Consortium). NMC is an international not-for-profit consortium of nearly 200 leading colleges, universities, museums, corporations, and other learning-focused organizations dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies.
- NITLE (National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education). NITLE is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting liberal education. Their mission is to catalyze innovative teaching to enrich and advance liberal education in the digital age.
- Oberlin Group. The Oberlin Group is an informal consortium of the libraries of 75 selective liberal arts colleges. The primary purposes of the consortium are to discuss library issues of common concern, share information on best practices in library operations and services, license electronic resources of interest to member institutions, and to cooperate in resource sharing.
- OSHEAN (The Ocean State Higher Education Economic Development and Administrative Network). OSHEAN (pronounced "ocean") is a consortium of non-profit organizations that was formed to foster the development of a communications infrastructure for Rhode Island's research, educational, and public service community.
