International Internships
Wheaton's affiliation with Boston University's International Internships provide Wheaton students with a practical work experience in a global setting. Students have internship placements in a variety of disciplines ranging from the arts and politics to film.
Internship Program Description
Locations:
Sydney, Australia
London, England
Paris, France
Dublin, Ireland
Credits: Students take three lecture courses along with one internship placement earning a total of four Wheaton credits for the semester.
All courses must be preapproved by appropriate Wheaton faculty members.

Wheaton Summer Internship Program in South Africa
Wheaton students and faculty spend six weeks in South Africa teaching secondary school math and science in an enrichment program at the Vela School in Umtata, South Africa. The Wheaton students and faculty take a half-credit course on the History and Culture of South Africa in the spring before the internship takes place.
