Cover letter sentences need to substantiate your "self-descriptions". It is not enough to say that one is detail oriented. One must expand on how this skill was acquired and give examples(a specific experience, academic training, etc.).

- Think about a skill or perspective gained that you would like to highlight in your resume.

- Think about how you learned the skill or gained the perspective.

- Think about why you value what you learned- how might it be applied to the organization or position to which you apply?

Write a sample sentence that substantiates your "self-description."
