WHAT IS EXPERIENTIAL TEACHING and LEARNING

Experiential learning is a major pedagogical strategy and the process whereby knowledge is created through the transformation of experience. Most commonly experiential learning has four stages -- concrete experience, observation and critical reflection, abstract conceptualization and generalization, and active experimentation. This 4-stage process is known as Kolb's cycle.
