Main Interests

Hydrogen-bonding in small molecules; simultaneous equilibria; chemistry of natural and man-made bodies of water.

Research Interests

For a long time I have had an interest in using dielectric methods to investigate hydrogen-bonding in small molecules. This yields structural as well as thermodynamic information. I have also worked with a departmental colleague and a number of students.

Teaching Interests

Physical Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry. The use of computers for data acquisition and data reduction in the laboratory.

Other Interests

I enjoy travel, photography, and gardening.
