Main Interests
Connie says, "I am available to conference with students about any major writing concerns or projects, including long papers, personal statements or the ongoing dvelopment of writing strategies. I will function as a listening audience, with the understanding that writing is a form of communication that must be understood by the reader. Students and I will work together, I as a quide and listener, students as thinking participants, to uncover the part of their work that is wanting to be heard.
Research Interests
Learning Differences, Tutoring Writing, Teaching Composition, Adademic Journal Writing, Language Awareness and Perception vs Memory.
Teaching Interests
Compostion, Basic Writing, Students with Learning Differences, Honors Thesis Students
Other Interests
Writing narrative, writing poetry, writing essays and reading.
Student Projects
Working with students with Learning Differences and working with students who are writing their senior thesis.

Poetry published in various small presses including, Issues, Brown Journal of the Arts, Clerestory, Dogwood, Three Rivers Poetry Journal and RI Women Speak.
