Main Interests
Christianna Kavaloski is a professional dancer with over twenty-five years of experience as a performer, teacher, choreographer and arts administrator. She began her early classical ballet training at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA, then went on to study and work with the Boston Ballet, Ballet Theatre of Boston, Boston Repertory Ballet, New York City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, among others. She is trained in the Vaganova, Balanchine, Cecchetti, Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Limon and Horton techniques, as well as Sutton dance notation. She studied technique and pedagogy with Finis Jhung in New York City, then pursued further undergraduate studies in dance at Indiana University and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and later earned a graduate degree from Boston University.
Teaching Interests
Currently teaches beginner and intermediate/advanced ballet technique classes. She is interested in helping students discover the joy, discipline and art of dance, encouraging them to develop increased strength, flexibility, confidence and artistic expression.
