April

It has not been spring weather lately. I went to a women's lacrosse game last week and it started snowing right after! Then a couple days later I went to a baseball game and it was kind of nice out. Then it was so rainy and windy last night that we basically had a monsoon.

This past Friday, there was another Accepted Student Open House and the math club put on another table. This time we had all the other science clubs with us. It was really fun because the Tri Beta Honor Society brought out one of the many terrapin turtles that are in the vivarium and the Physics Club brought out one of their telescopes and then some other experiments. The Eco Club was there too. We're having another table this next Friday.

Relay for Life was this past Friday. The weather, again, wasn't that great so we ended up moving inside halfway through. Usually it's an all night walk around the Dimple, and it's always in early spring, so people are used to the cold, but it was supposed to be freezing.

Overall, it was very successful because we raised over $35,000 for the American Cancer Society!
