Still here
So yeah, finals last semester were fine, and the holidays up in New Hampshire were lovely. I spent New Year's in Hartford and then I moved back into my room the day after. I've been here at Wheaton all January break, working in the Admissions Office and babysitting.Being on campus for break was peaceful. It was like having a full time job from 8:30-6:30 all week and not having any nightly obligations. Finally, everyone has come back on campus and it's back to the same old routine. The good thing is that the dining halls have opened back up so I can stop spending money on groceries. It's taken me a while to get back into the homework mode though.
This semester I'm taking three classes and doing an internship. I'm taking Number Theory, Mathematical & Statistical Consulting, and Senior Seminar. I technically only need to take one class to graduate, but I need three to stay a full-time student. I chose the extra two math classes, technically for 'fun.'
My internship is with Tyco Healthcare in Mansfield. Every so often, we get emails from the Filene Center about jobs and internships in the area, and last semester, this one caught my eye. I'm worked with a couple people in the Filene Center to perfect my cover letter and resume, and then went in for an interview. There are a lot more fun details that I can talk about later.

There are a few things that I'm looking forward to in the next couple weeks. First off, is the Dance Company's yearly performance. As I've bragged about before, my roommate is one of the captains and she's also on all of the posters. That is coming up next weekend. I'll be going to all three shows.
Also, this weekend is the Big Event, which is sponsored by the Wheaton Athletic Mentors/WAMs. It's an alcohol-free weekend and they put on a big indoor carnival! posted by Coriann at 7:26 PM
