Mathy stuff

Friday the Math Club put together a fun activity table in the Science Center. We wanted to make some math puzzles & fun things available to everyone so maybe it could peak their interest in our amazing subject. Some people are scared of math and just shy away from it, but we want everyone to see that it's not only incredibly useful and irreplaceable, but it can be interesting and fun!

Club members each were in charge of an activity like logic problems, Sudoku, & coloring challenges. Sudoku has become so incredibly popular and it seems like all of a sudden since the first time I'd ever done one was the first math club meeting last year. The table was definitely a success, we all had a great time doing the puzzles ourselves and we even gave out candy.

Then during the weekend, I went down to my friend's Cape house. The boys decided it would be fun to do a polar bear swim in the ocean both nights we were there. posted by Coriann at 11:38 PM
