Responsibilities of Reunion Program ChairClass Vice President in a Reunion Year Recruit a reunion program committeeThis should be done the summer before ALC (See Responsibilities of Reunion Program Committees). Committee members can be mailed a copy of this handbook and can be invited to attend ALC, provided you share their names with your staff contact.
Attend ALCBe sure to attend ALC (October 19 and 20, 2007) with class officers and committee members
Maintain frequent contactStay in contact with Heather Corbett and Ryan Parker in Alumnae/i Relations & Annual Giving. Early and ongoing communication effectively clarifies expectations and addresses questions and concerns throughout the planning process. The National Reunion Chair, Jane Martin '74, P'11, is an additional resource for ideas and suggestions. Maintain ongoing contact with reunion class officers and CommitteesFollow up with fellow class officers and committee members on individual assignments between meetings. Use e-mail and phone trees to keep everyone "in the loop." Remember, you are the team leader! Follow timetable for class mailings during Reunion yearSpecifically, recruit two classmates to write and submit reflection letters (one in February and the other in April) and coordinate draft of March letter from either the RPC or the class officer team. Complete and return reunion Class Needs SurveyThe Reunion Class Needs Survey will be mailed to each RPC in March and is due back to the Director of Alumnae/i Relations & Annual Giving by April 7.
