2005 Spring Service Day

On Saturday, April 2, students and alumnae/i joined forces for the annual Spring Service Day sponsored by the Student Alumnae/i Council (SAC) and the Office of Alumnae/i Relations & Annual Giving.

Fifteen students and four alums (pictured above) pushed up their sleeves to help out with various indoor beautification projects at Handi Kids Therapeutic Riding Center in Bridgewater, Mass. Students and alumnae/i worked side by side, brushing saddle blankets, cleaning and organizing the toy area, cleaning windows and clearing cobwebs from the horse stalls and the arena, all while forging connections and having fun!

"Helping out at Handi-Kids was not only fun, it was rewarding. Doing community service is so important to me and to the Wheaton community, so whenever we can do something for such a great organization, it truly is a pleasure to put our hands and hearts to work."
