Black Alumnae/i Group

Wheaton's Black Alumnae/i Group works to:

increase the visibility of Wheaton's black alumnae/i, both on and off campus;

build and strengthen the connection among Wheaton's black alumnae/i, between black alumnae/i and students, and between black alumnae/i and the college

support the expansion of diversity on the campus, including supporting admission efforts to recruit students of color and working to increase the number of faculty and staff of color;

influence the atmosphere at Wheaton to ensure that it is welcoming and supportive of students of color; and

integrate black alumnae/i into the full range of opportunities offered by the Alumnae/i Association.

Men of Color Listserv

If you are a black or Hispanic alumnus and would like to keep in touch with other men of color in the Wheaton community, subscribe to the new Men of Color Listserv. To subscribe, send an e-mail with "Men of color mailing list" in the subject line to Tony Laing '96 or Raul Lorenzo '97.
