Academic Advising at the Filene Center
Academic advising at Wheaton College is a shared responsibility between student and advisor, whether with an academic dean or faculty advisor. The academic deans can help students, by class year, with general advising, and also offers specific programming.
Advisors assist students as they:
- explore learning inside and outside the classroom,
- reflect upon their goals and academic choices,
- plan their academic programs, and
- monitor their progress toward completion of all degree requirements.
