Academic Scholarships and Financial Aid for International Students
Wheaton offers an academic scholarship program to recognize outstanding secondary school achievement and student leadership. Citizens of any country are eligible for these funds which range in value from U.S. $20,000 to U.S. $50,000 over the course of a student's four years at Wheaton (annual value $5,000 to $12,500). Wheaton also offers a $10,000 scholarship, renewable each year, to up to three accepted students from underrepresented countries. In addition, the College awards up to three scholarships per year covering the entire cost of attendance. The Admission Committee selects scholarship recipients from the general applicant pool; no additional application is necessary.
Wheaton offers need-based financial aid to U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents based on a combination of financial need and academic performance. Applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid must file the PROFILE and FAFSA forms by the deadline of the admission decision plan they have chosen. Need-based financial aid is not available to non-U.S. citizens or non-U.S. permanent residents.
