Director of Prospect Management & Research

Reports to: Executive Director of Development
Description: Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Director of Prospect Management and Research is responsible for the identification and management of individual prospects and groups of prospects through the development cycle. In this senior role, s/he is responsible for managing the Research Department, ensuring an ongoing stream of prospects through innovative identification processes, and will work closely with other directors within College Advancement to develop strategies for engaging and cultivating principal and major gifts prospects.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience in development research; a thorough understanding of donor relations, stewardship and major gifts fundraising; and a solid background in staff management and prospect management/tracking or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Higher education or related nonprofit experience preferred. Individuals must possess these knowledges, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Salary: Administrative/Professional Grade 5
