Assistant Director, Staffing & Training

Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Description: The Assistant Director of Staffing & Training will manage all aspects of the employment and recruitment process and will coordinate staff training and development programs. Specifically, the Assistant Director will oversee and facilitate the staffing and hiring process for exempt and non-exempt staff positions, which includes consulting with supervisors about recruitment strategies, reaching out to and collaborating with recruitment sources, overseeing the applicant tracking system and recruitment budget, preparing reports on hiring activity and trends, and serving as a resource to new staff members.
The Assistant Director will coordinate, prioritize, design and deliver staff training and development workshops and programs, and will also coordinate several major events.
The Assistant Director will also manage the exit interview process and provide general employee relations support.
Serves on college-wide committees and leads or assists with projects.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree and minimum of two years experience in human resources or employment field and previous experience in interviewing or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience in training field preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and an ability to collaborate with diverse groups are essential.
Salary: Administrative/Professional Grade 3
